About Us:

We're passionate about serving authentic, delicious Mediterranean cuisine at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. We're looking for a dedicated and energetic Assistant Manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Operations Management:
  • Support daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Create staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
  •  Monitor food and supply inventory levels.
  •  Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
Team Leadership:
  •  Train new team members.
  •  Provide ongoing coaching and development to staff.
  •  Motivate and inspire the team to achieve high-performance standards.
  •  Communicate employee concerns and address performance issues.
Customer Service:
  •  Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  •  Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
  •  Maintain brand standards of customer experience, including adherence to recipes.
Financial Management:
  •  Assist with financial tasks, including cash handling, inventory control, and labor cost management.
  •  Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Food Safety and Sanitation:
  •  Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  •  Conduct regular inspections and maintain proper documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fast-casual setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • ServSafe Manager certification is required.
  • Basic computer skills, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel/overnight for training
