Duties
The GM (Restaurant General Manager) is in charge of managing restaurant operations from inventory to employee relations. He or she is responsible for daily record keeping, including completing the Tighten Up Book, Inventory, Ordering and Scheduling. Staffing decisions and hiring/firing also falls to the GM. In short, the GM is held accountable for any day-to-day operational requirement. Great Greek managers are working managers. GM is also responsible to Develop and coordinate marketing efforts and community events.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs all tasks related to hiring and terminations.

  • Schedules employees based on sales forecast data.

  • Ability to successfully operate every station.

  • Assign shift positions and daily tasks related to the operation.

  • Quarterbacks rushes.

  • Keeps accurate records using provided resources.

  • Contributes to team effort by taking on additional tasks as needed.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently

  • SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Oversee inventory, ordering food and supplies, while increasing sales and optimizing profits to ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience

  • Restaurant leadership experience is required (i.e. Kitchen Manager, Assistant Manager). Must have strong leadership qualities and an excellent work ethic. Should be able to intelligently discuss cost control, safety/sanitation and other restaurant-specific topics.

  • Must have the ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.

  • Estimated working hours: 50 -60.

This position is for the first restaurant which is opening in Roseville soon. We are a growing company and already have the second location in the works and more to go, so the hired candidate will have a good opportunity to grow and manage multiple locations in the future. We are looking for passionate candidates with a drive to succeed.


 Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous restaurant management experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
  • Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
